With Christmas Just around the corner, I am starting to think of my Christmas Baking. One of the must haves for Christmas is Fantasy Fudge. It was my very First post but here it is again....
3 cups sugar
3/4 cup margarine
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 12-oz. (340 g) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 7-oz. (198 g) jar Kraft Marshmallow creme
1 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup margarine
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 12-oz. (340 g) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 7-oz. (198 g) jar Kraft Marshmallow creme
1 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Set everything out before you begin......
Combine sugar, margarine and milk in heavy 2-1/2 quart saucepan; bring to boil, over low heat (3 or4 on the stove dial) stirring constantly. When it begins to boil ( this will take some time so be patient, I find having a glass of wine helps with this part) set your timer for 5 minutes continue stirring. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate till melted. Add marshmallow creme, nuts & vanilla beat till blended. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Let cool and cut into 1-inch squares. You can line your pan with tin foil, it makes removal much easier.
