The location is beautiful; exposed stone walls and high ceilings. The service is friendly and the food is very good quality. We tried a variety of things, starting with a delicious onion bhaji appetizer that was served with a sweet sauce for dipping. For the main meal we had a thinly sliced Chicken Tikka Masala, a velvety Chicken korma, a tasty, thick yogurt based Beef dhansak, a yummy Saag allo spinach dish (that has become one of my new favourites), a simple palao rice and a fantastic naan bread. The menu offers a large selection to choose from and each dish, that is spicy, is clearly indicated. Although a tad more expensive than what you might expect, 'you do get what you pay for.' 4 mmm's out of 5
The day’s here, the baby bird is pushed from the nest as I have a firm hold on one wing. I stayed home with my kids and worked part time. Now what? Of course there are my favourite things -eating and drinking wine- I am going to concentrate on sharing them. Yep, that is what I am going to do! If you want to talk about good food and wine, recipes and have a few laughs, jump on board, I could use the company :)
