I had supper at Piatto and was very pleased with the wood fire pizza. The Naples style thin crust and the flour and tomatoes from Italy make the pizza is a real treat.
I started with a fresh salad Noci e Rucola with arugula, blue cheese, candied walnuts and cranberries and a flavourful balsamic dressing. I then shared a white pizza, a prosciutto crudo e Rucola, mozzarella cheese, prosciutto and arugula. A touch more salt and a drizzle of olive oil on top would have made it perfect but I enjoyed it none the less.
The exposed bricks, classic scooters and open kitchen make Piattos feel like a true Italian restaurant.
