I would describe the inside of Elses as a Bohemian bar, unconventional in appearance, serving what looked like a local crowd.
I shared a mushroom risotto that had lots of mushrooms, green peas and cheese. It was not a typical Italian risotto and the rice was slightly firm but it was still quite enjoyable. We also shared an extremely good carpaccio with a fantastic horse radish and a tangy pickled celery and onion salad.
Happy hour prices for drinks and very reasonable prices for the meal, made this an affordable and enjoyable experience.
