Brit and Chips is a place that has figured out the secret of Good Fish and Chips!
They have a nice selection of fish to choose from like the classic Cod or Haddock and for something a little different, Salmon. The special thing about Brit and Chips is their choice of batters, there is Guinness, orange crush or the Burgundy Lion. The batter is not too heavy, which most fish places fall victim to and they seem to have the french fries figured out too. I started off with Curry fish cakes, a nice change from the traditional, and very pleasant. They have a suitable selection of ales and a compact out door terrace. Growing up on the East coast, allowed me to taste many fish and chips and I am very happy to have found Brit and Chips! Go with friends and taste a few different plates, you will be glad that you did.
