The best way to enjoy your veggies is to eat them when they are in season.
Asparagus is low in calories and very low in sodium. It is full of vitamins! This is a super easy recipe but still very tasty.
1 pound asparagus
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
Remove and discard the tough bottoms ( Grasp each end of the asparagus and bend it gently until it snaps at its natural point of tenderness) Spread the asparagus on a large plate. Drizzle the olive oil on top and sprinkle with salt. Turn the spears until they are all evenly coated * I add a splash of Balsamic vinegar *
Grill [perpendicular] to the grate, over direct medium heat{you can place them on top of tin foil} Grill 4 to 6 minutes. Turn occasionally
