The place is packed, the turn over is quick and the food is good. This is a great spot to go with a large crowd, there is something for everyone. The menu is huge, over 100 items and there are a variety of things marked spicy.{ you are offered the option of having it without spice, a nice touch}
We had Hunan dumpling with peanut sauce, the dumplings were a bit tough but the sauce was good. They were not spicy, although it is indicated that this appetizer is considered spicy. We also tried boneless Pekin spareribs, they were sweet with a lot of garlic, I always like that. We Finished with shanghai noodle with pork and Szechuan pepper chicken with crispy spinach, both dishes were flavorful but nothing to rave about. La Perle is a safe bet, not outstanding but you will be satisfied with your meal.
