Deville dinerbar - lunch review

Deville Dinerbar on Urbanspoon

All the comforts of an old time diner in a posh, modern diner with hot pink lighting. I am a fan of a round table or in this case, a semi circle booth. It's comfortable and easy to have a conversation with everyone at the table. There is an up stairs as well as a terrace so lots of options when choosing seating.
The portions are huge so definitely plan to share with girlfriends or snuggle up with your honey and have one of their fantastically thick toasted marshmallow milk shakes. I shared the dinerbar club and it was plenty for two, it had the typical 3 layers of bread, chicken, bacon and tomatoes. But also, there was avocado, arugula and sweet creamy maple Dijon mustard. The combination of sweet from the honey/mustard sauce and salty from the thick sliced bacon was really delicious.  I also enjoyed the accompanying shoe string french fry,  a nice stray from the thick every day french fry. Maybe it was their size that made them seem less like a guilty pleasure.
The service was pleasant, attentive and fast.  A solid 4 mmm's out of 5
