The day’s here, the baby bird is pushed from the nest as I have a firm hold on one wing. I stayed home with my kids and worked part time. Now what? Of course there are my favourite things -eating and drinking wine- I am going to concentrate on sharing them. Yep, that is what I am going to do! If you want to talk about good food and wine, recipes and have a few laughs, jump on board, I could use the company :)

Easy, Gluten free, Chickpea salad
This is a simple way to have a healthy salad that is Gluten free and will keep you full. You can add feta cheese, or sliced avocado as well.
1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup of each: celery, red apple and carrot, chopped
1 teaspoon of fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon olive oil
sea salt and pepper to taste
