This is still one of my favourite restaurants to go to while visiting the Boston area. Always fresh, well seasoned ingredients that are thoughtfully combined to create an unforgettable meal. The Blue ox is the perfect place for a group of friends to share wine and have a Fantastic meal!
We shared a few appetizers, the spicy tuna tartare with cucumber, cilantro and home made potato chips was one that stands out. It was gobbled up before I could have seconds, order a couple of these!
I then ordered swordfish with asparagus potatoes and my husband ordered pan roasted cod with pumpkin risotto. I took a bite of mine and a bite of his and immediately switched plates. Although the swordfish was good, the cod was outstanding! Lightly battered and perfectly seasoned with a divine pumpkin risotto.Yum! The fish at the Blue Ox is second to none and the over all dining experience is a solid 5 mmm's out of 5
