Mon Village - Lunch review

MonVillage on Urbanspoon As the weather turns colder, I am drawn to the warm fires of Mon Village. It use to be you could drop in any time and find a seat, now reservations are a must. If you choose to sit on the pub side, everyone in your party must be over 18 years of age. Mon Village is a homey place with its two wonderful fireplaces that will cause you to sit back and relax. Always and I must insist Always, begin with the garlic bread, with or without cheese. The thick slices of bread are grilled, lathered in a garlic butter and served hot, they really are delicious. I always choose from the Pub Specialties and have never been disappointed with the Filet Melt. Cubes of seasoned and broiled filet Mignon are covered in sauteed onions, melted Swiss cheese and served on a fresh roll. It shares the plate with home cut french fries and a dish of coleslaw. The perfect country lunch!
